Not as impressed with that trailer as the Xbox showcase one but hopefully there's more to it and it looks better on release. Impressive though that a one man band so to speak made it all.

Not sure what the game's about. Looks like an interesting cinematic with troops and a lady running in a city. The title is odd, Bright Memory, for a video game. Then they add on Infinite. Not sure why it's infinite. What does that mean in context of the game itself? Hopefully the game will explain. Infinite as in unlimited lives to keep trying in the game perhaps. Or maybe just one of those extra subtitles that don't mean a lot.

For PS4 and PS5.

EDIT:
Here's a gameplay trailer. FPS but with special abilities. I'm not a big fan of FPS, but this looks interesting at least thanks to the ability to lasso the enemy closer for a punch.

Yeah games like this, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Lost Soul Aside, Bugsnax, Stray, Little Devil Inside, etc are really kind of embarrassing the big 3rd party studios right now. Really you can even go back to Hello Games with No Man's Sky and Ninja Theory's Hellblade as examples of what's possible with smaller studios.

Also by that same token, regarding a lot of the other indie devs out there, after seeing games like this along with the others I mentioned I don't want to see another ugly, cheap looking, 8-bit pixel art game from these indie devs on PlayStation ever again. Put that shit on mobile phones if you want, but stop littering the PS Store with this crap. Yeah, they can call it cute, charming, "retro" or whatever other euphemism they want but the reality is they're fast and cheap to make and that's why so many indies go with that art style. If that's the art direction you're hell bent on using, fine. But don't put it on home console. Put it on PC or mobile where it belongs. If you're going to make a game for console, put some work and ambition into it.

Looks interesting. That's nice they let you do more than just hold and shoot a gun, where you can use a sword, special powers, telekinesis, and drive a car. Anything interesting to separate from the endless list of FPSs.

Paid 8 dollars for the crappy demo on series x back at launch. This was a giant pile of crap. It doesn't look anywhere near as pretty on console as the trailers they've marketed, it was entirely un-fun to play, and they didn't even try to have a story that made any sense. I'd have cut it some slack if he didn't charge 8 bucks for forty minutes. I'll pass.

I'm not going to compare it to Deathloop as I'm one actually looking forward to that, but this does look good. Gameplay wise it gives me a bit of a Shadow Warrior vibe and even Dishonored with being able to use the sword along with guns.

It's a bit of a shame that Bright Memory wasn't much, but I expect it wouldn't have been released on anything but PC if Microsoft didn't want it on the Series X/S as a launch exclusive. This looks way better than that.

Shadow Warrior 3 is another game I'm very much looking forward to.
