I was wanting to add “Portrait In Black” (1960) to my collection. It was released in 2019 by Kino but the review on this site stated it was a subpar video release.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Portr...235491/#Review It was released by Elephant Films in France. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Portr...lu-ray/199992/ Does anyone know which transfer is better between the 2 releases? I think the US & Canada release has the same transfer but not sure about the French release. I’d like to get the best transfer available of this title. I'm also curious about this. Based on the dvdbeaver review and looking at the screenshots - the french release looks like it might be superior, but it's hard to tell.
http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDRe...ck_blu-ray.htm Did you ever find out? |
