If we’re lucky this may end up being a fun action film but it will never be an actual Snake Eyes movie.

This is dead on. If it wasn't for some small Joe roles, which are pointless, it would just be a HK action movie.

This. As someone who actually enjoyed both previous Joe movies, I had high hopes for this one. Clearly the studio directions said "compete with the nick cage film of the same name for worst movie with the same name."

But if they will give any and every movie the steelbook treatment, I am eagerly awaiting the (awesome art please!) late 80s classic "The Wizard" with Fred Savage and Christian Slater.

Hopefully this is the final artwork because it looks pretty awesome.

A gloss finish would be the icing on the cake.

Fingers crossed the film is actually good. I love Japan and ninjas so I hope I at least get some enjoyment out of it. haha

I enjoyed the movie it had just enough adaption of the original comics ideas to make me happy.

I saw that too and I was wondering about it. Then I remembered Target said exclusive on the Backdraft steel for a bit and then it ended up at BBY. I ordered from Amazon a few weeks ago, so I was definitely confused for a bit.

BestBuy stores' inventory shows quantity of 0 coming in to the stores for release day as of yesterday Thursday 10/15. Same for the Scream SteelBook. (This could change by release date)

So the steelbook has the regular blu ray, but the normal 4K release doesn't have it?
