Default Wikipedians who support Blu-ray

I've made a user template on Wikipedia to show our support for the Blu-ray disc format. Feel free to add it to your user profile if you wish. Just copy and paste this code into your user page:

Code:
{{User:Randall311/Blu-ray}}

I am a casual Wikipedia editor. I never even bothered to make an official account. However I have some suggestion on the Blu-ray page on Wikipedia for those Wikipedians that are willing..

First, the Blu-ay page looks too much like it is trying to sell Blu-ray vs HD DVD and not give just the facts abut Blu-ray.
I think all this format war stuff should be severely cut down, and put under a new title "Format War" or "Format War Developments".

Also, no one has added the fact that HBO is Blu-exclusive either.

It should be noted that this page is confusing and needs a major overhaul. I think the whole page needs to be re-organized to show the facts of Blu-ray, history of Blu-ray (development and introduction into market), a basic comparison between Blu-ray and HD DVD (and any other HD or SD formats like DVD), and a brief format war section. This war might as well deserve its own page since so much has happened. But I don't like it filling up the entire Blu-ray page. It should not be selling Blu-ray, it should merely be stating facts.

I read through the history page on the Blu-ray v HD-DVD pages. It like a forum, but without moderation. Chaos.

That is the problem, it is not a Blu-ray vs HD DVD page and should not be presented that way. It is a very bad Wikipedia page IMO. Both of them are actually.
There should be a separate entry just for the HD format war, and they should link to that and mention they are in a war (or were in a war soon ) and not list all the format war stuff on the BD and HD DVD pages.
It is hard to follow and looks bad!

one that we don't have is infobox "wikipedians who think BD is better than HD DVD"

you can consider changing your userbox to that
