Your thoughts on We Own The Night? - Blu-ray Forum

I saw this movie in theaters opening night and had some high expectations for it. I did not like it. However, this movie has many good reviews and perhaps it deserves a second viewing. What did everyone else think about this movie?

I also saw this on the first day out. I didnt really have any expectations but it was good, not great, but not bad either.

I read somewhere that this was an overused type of story. I don't know. It sounds interesting to me. Actually I was going to blind-buy this. Is it worth it?

Saw this movie last week and liked it A LOT! didn't LOVE it, but definitely worth a buy IMO.

I voted 'pure garbage', but in honestly thought it was only 'mostly' garbage. there were 1 or 3 powerful scenes that i liked. unfortunately i thought everything that surrounded those parts were garbage.

I wanted to see it in theatres but missed it. Almost picked it up during the B2G1 at DeepDiscount but had heard too many mixed reviews for a blind buy.

It's on the rental list now though, so I havent totally written it off.
