Help! Online Team Fortress on Orange Box - Blu-ray Forum

Can't seem to get online to play Team Fortress... all other games can get online just fine. Message says, "waiting for EA online..." and just waits...

Any special way to get this to work?

It just sounds like EA servers are having an issue currently. Give it a while and it will be back on. Nothing you can do but wait

for three days? is this normal for EA?

Am I the only one or is anyone else having the same issue?

Oh I didnt know it was for three days. What NAT type are you. sometimes games will require you to have NAT type 2

Sure you meant Type 2?

Or do you mean as opposed to Type 3?

Because Type 1 should be alot more reliable than going through a router.

With an old router I could not connect to Unreal Tournament with Media Server turned on (network settings) or with a Type 3 connection.

That router was garbage tho I bought a new one that works great
