Halo 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Ok so I know this would make more sense ona 360 forum. But how many of you if you own a 360 or a PS3, an original Xbox ect heard of Halo before halo 3.

Halo was the first game I bought with my original Xbox. Bought Halo 2 when it came out and thought it was pretty much more of the same thing, and didn't bother with Halo 3. I really can't see what the hype is about. Rainbow Six Vegas is a much better shooter, IMO.

I'm sure a lot of people heard of Halo. It was a launch title for the original Xbox.

not before halo 3 though. Or at least not in the UK. Yet then again microsoft is US. And of course US go for US over Jp

I think most gamers have known of halo since the first released. Not sure about the general public, more awareness than say bioshock, but less than wii sports or gta.

Personally, H3 makes me ill. Literally. Can't play for more than 5 minutes before getting hit with motion sickness.

heard about it when the xbox launched ended up buying a halo themed xbox which was green and came with halo , halo was good and halo 2 was about the same , never bothered finishing halo 3 and sold it when i got rid of my ps3 and xbox 360 game libary.

After watching a Halo 2 commercial on TV, I made the mistake of commenting on the excellent graphics. Fast forward a month or two and I got an XBox with Halo 2 for Christmas. Since I game little and don't FPS at all, I've never played it, or anything else on the XBox. My son plays the hell out of it (and "persuaded" us to buy him a 360 just to play Halo 3), so there's a happy ending - just not for me.
