Halo 3

Ranking in at 170 million for opening day
Halo 3 is everywhere from dog tags to toilet seats on ebay for $11
but is this considered whoring the series
Because of this i am considering getting rid of my elite even though i just bought the legendary edition
It feels and plays like Halo 2 just with alot better graphics and Forge which by the way is a great feature
How does this affect the PS3 overall with a possible $399 ps3 coming and possibly gta4 coming in october
Will MGS4 outsell this game or has halo finally hit mass market appeal

The PS3 will have a game that will try to accomplish a similar outcome. Enough said. There really is not a "console war" with video games. The new Gran Turismo might be a reason that I buy a PS3

microsoft could probably just write Halo 4 on a piece of paper and sell a million of them. its obvious that xbox fanbois are mindlessly trapped in Halos grasp and cant get out. from what i have read its basically nothing new from Halo 2 and its a short game (6-10hrs?). end rant...for now

I'm mainly keeping my 360 Elite to play exclusive HD-DVD movies, other then that I prolly would of got rid of it. As for Halo 3, I was never fond of any of their series. I always thought it was like any other FPS games out there.

I think it will effect a little on the PS3 but not much. With a new SKU of $399 coming out, you got Blu-ray, free on-line access, many excellent games both retail and PS Store to play and possibly a free copy of Spiderman 3. You can't beat that!

I'm sure a lot of members here have 360's,(me included) but I for one am sick of hearing about Halo 3. Hell, I'd much rather play Bioshock again.

u must live in a cave with no other fps games to play.

many other fps i'd rather play than halo any second of any minute of any hour of any day.. u get the point.

strike force mod for UT was by far tho my fav fps game ever

You've got to remember that everybody is expressing their opinions, there are no facts to point fingers to which is the better game. If you really wanted to then you could compare sales, but that would just be immature.

Halo is my favorite game. Some others I have played have better graphics, or better game play, or whatever - but Halo has always been the most fun, esp playing co-op.

i know but i was responding in the same manner as the person i had quoted. if you look at most of my other posts regarding the similar topic i would always state "my opinion" "your opinion" etc.
