Will the regular 4K be a 4K and Blu-ray combo pack? The other M: I movies are in a combo pack.

Phenomenal movie and an amazing looking steelbook.

Now fingers crossed a UK one is announced soon as well.

Artwork is alright. Should have known it wouldn't match the new MI steelbooks.

That’s gross. I hope more designs are announced. I wasn’t a fan of the new steels, either.

Though grab it now if you want to preorder as the 20% off Target Circle offer knocks $7 off. Free shipping and an additional 5% off with REDCard. That’s a decent deal.

this artwork looks incredibly cheap and lazy unlike the John Wick 4 steelbook from Best Buy

Yikes! I am happy for those who like it, but I am not a fan of this artwork at all. I think it's really disappointing to be honest!

Why couldn't Paramount make the MI7 steelbook artwork match the new MI steelbook wave they just released? The artwork on those is excellent in my opinion. It would have been perfect to see the new steelbook match those.

Now, not only will the MI7 steelbook not match with the other six, but the design also got a downgrade. Oh, well! It is what it is, I suppose.

By the way, I can't wait to check out MI7 this weekend when I get a chance!

My question is does this steelbook feature a 4K disk and a Blu Ray disk or just a 4K disk?
If it''s just a 4K disk than there is no point in me getting it since I don't have 4K.

ETA

This must be a general steelbook release since Walmart has it up for pre-order as well.

Not sure I can be any more annoyed that this doesn’t match the ones they literally just released

This is exactly why I didn't buy those. I would have bought all of them if there was a guarantee that future SteelBooks would match. Ugh.

This would be a good time for retailers to roll out a "matching guarantee" on future steelbooks from the same franchise.

Default Doesn’t This Look Cool?

On the heels of the recently released steel books, or not for that matter, you’ve got to be kidding me.

This is what happens when a designer and or art department put their own personal aesthetics above common sense, or just mail it in.

Apparently it's the new trend. Release new steelbooks of past films right before the newest one is released and then don't match them upon its release.
John Wick and Transformers are two other recent ones.

I suspect Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will not match the white set or the poster set of steels, either.

Those were from Paramount.

Dial of Destiny is from Disney.

Dial of Destiny won't even get a SteelBook release in Canada.

This has always been the case in home media, with few exceptions. Design teams come and go,and it's rare that a complete series has a matching set of packaging until well after a series is finished.

The most recent example I can think of is the International (Zavvi,Fnac) Star Wars Steelbooks that had every movie up to this point. I can't think of many else.

The Fast and/or Furious saga is the only one I can think of that has put out the same/similar designs over multiple years

10 years worth of time passing there

Not if you're in the UK. Stopped their designs at #6 and everything after that was mish mash
