Fun is a good word to describe the film. Cage overacts as usual but the humor and action were entertaining throughout. I enjoyed Ron Perlman more in this than his standalone film, The Baker. 7/10.

I finally got around to watching it since it's on HULU.
It wasn't as fun / tongue in cheek as I thought it would be.
I was just expecting more of a Midnight Run type of vibe through the movie.
I went back and watched the trailer again and I have no idea why I thought that.

I am glad I watched it, I wish it had been more like what I had hoped.

Ron Perlman and Nicolas Cage in what looks to be a good old fashioned "dumb fun" film? Count me in!

Apparently Cage only took the role because it allowed him to have a nice holiday with his friend Ron Perlman and it shows. Utterly insipid, Cage could be replaced by Steven Seagal and you'd barely notice. There are some novel kills but the bad guys are so featureless they aren't entertaining. Twenty minutes too long and the soundtrack is terrible.

Saw this last night and it almost felt like a 2 hour pilot for a cheap syndicated action series (minus swearing and some blood). Just horrible. Everyone was sleepwalking throughout the film.

Watched this movie last week, oh man this was bad. You can see every second that there wasn't any budget and for most of the cast this movie was just a paycheck.

I was like WTH when I noticed the back cover shows just DD 5.1 but the disc actually has DTS-HD 5.1.
