That's how I feel too, I was entertained but I also feel like it either should've gone deeper into the stock stuff or been a deeper character study, whereas I feel like it kinda glossed over both aspects lol

I bought the digital code in 4K for $9.99 and really enjoyed the movie. It was worth the blind buy. A heads up though. The digital movie doesn't have Dolby Vision on Vudu, but does have it on iTunes.

It perfectly emulated the experience of scrolling through reddit.

After watching the Folding Ideas video essay (almost an hour longer than this film!), I think the film gives too much credit to the David vs. Goliath narrative of Redditors and RoaringKitty being able to upturn the entire financial market. The film does show characters that come out on top while others end up losing money for their stock play, but it does seem to overlook the lack of comprehension on how the stock market works, conspiratorial thinking, gambling addiction affecting family, sunk cost fallacy.
