Says Blu-Ray worldwide premiere so I'd imagine it's going to be longer than the next month or two...maybe the WAC is saving it for Christmas '24.

WAC licenses a lot of titles to various German companies (makes sense, as the US releases don't have a German track), Plaion Pictures are releasing the WAC titles Performance & Supergirl on the same day, but...I just don't think Warner will allow another company to release a title before they do. I'd bet good money that this title shows up in the announcements next week (I hope there's announcements next week!).

No, they don't, Plaion is the first company after Studio Hamburg many years ago. There were some releases of Warner titles from labels like Pidax and Hansesound, but those were all not licenced bootlegs, and most of them were removed from the market, some shortly after their announcement.
And there are some repacks, but those are just Warner discs in new cases.

Whoa! This would be major but there's been no sign of a new 4K or 2K DCP or any new master screenings on broadcast or streaming. Those are the usual indicators so this could possibly be a BD of Warner's HD master made for the DVD.

But I sure hope there's a 4K master of this soon. The IB Technicolor print I saw last December was one of the most glorious theatrical experiences I've ever had.

Just watched it, looks fine but nothing mindblowing. But I only have one (press copy) disc, no idea what's supposed to be the "alternative cut" on the second disc....

It's certainly not a new 4K master, but I can live with the picture very well.

Received mine in the US today and I am happy with it. Looks excellent and works well and easily. Kinda funny when you forget to change the language and The Duke speaks German though.

It's always great to know a film in DVD quality and then get to see it in blu ray quality. This has much more clarity and very good colors. The skies and such are a bit grainy but that's true to the original, I imagine.

It is Region B locked. Would not play on my Region A Oppo.
