Opposed to VHS I can still play cassette tapes, so the tape would be kinda fun actually (actually repaired my Yamaha KX-670 and replaced the belts only a couple of months ago - EDIT: just one month ago - time can be an ******* both ways obviously...). But then again I'd only take a tape in addition to something digital resp. a CD. So why can't they at least provide that as well when they give you such a tape gimmick? Sigh.

That price is insane. I had the conversation with my mother who said to me "you're a big boy now. You can afford it." I replied "Thanks, but no cigar. You don't know Jack." But then I relented, and when she asked if I was actually going to buy it, I said "tonight, for sure."

The thing is, my rich godmother died recently, so I'm going to have to go to the godfather and ask him for some cash. He works down at the Cotton Club next to Finian's Rainbow. Alternatively, my cousin Peggy Sue got married to a rich chap recently, so I could ask him, but he's got an incredibly fiery temper and I can see him shouting at me and saying "there's going to be an apocalypse now!"

Bonus points to whoever can tell me exactly how many Coppola films I referenced there.
