I plan to use mine to watch the few HD DVDs I do have, and upscaled DVDs since a lot of those titles won't be double-dipped for Blu. I guess I'll be a proud owner of an artifact from Format War II (FW II). Sort of like owning a piece of Japanese or Nazi Germany WWII era stuff.
