Default The end of HD DVD. Now what??

So I really want to buy a bunch of movies which HD DVD are releasing in the next two months, example: "into the wild" which comes out march 4th. So what now? Will these still be released HD DVD or will the studios quickly go to Blu ray? If HD DVD still has to release into the wild on march 4th, when do you think it will come out on blu ray?

Would you realy still buy it on HD even if it isn't out for Blu as soon? If you buy it, they will come...

if its announced for hd dvd, it will probably still be released on it. but after may, it'll pretty much be over as far as hd dvd releases go. i say either pick up the dvd or wait for the blu version

Yeah, it may not be immediately Blu-ray, but I think its safe to expect it in a couple months. At most by Christmas time.

I'll probably get the HD DVDs since I already have 145 of them (143 blu-rays, too!).

But if you only have 10-20 HD DVS, I'd recommend liquidating and waiting until they come out on blu-ray.

I can wait for Blu versions - I am just happy that I dont have to worry that I chose the wrong format. I am glad this thing is finally over.

Question Just hold on for a bt

For goodness sake, show a little patience. Why buy a HD-DVD movie now?

The war is over and all the studios are supporting Blu-ray. Sooner or later they will be coming out in Blu. Bail out while you can. There are more than enough Blu-ray titles to keep you busy until your favorite must have movie comes out in Blu.

I can only assume that there are thousands of us TRUE BLU-ray FANS who would just love to get Transformers in Blu-ray. I didn't even buy the standard DVD, I knew if I waited long enough it would show up in Blu.

Soon and very soon. . . . . .
