Default With X-Files 2 coming out...

With X-Files 2 coming out and then presumably on BD a short time later, do you think we might get the first X-Files Movie and the T.V. series on BD soon after?

What are the chances of that?....

The X-Files is my fave show of all time, i stuck with it from beginning to end (don't get me started on those people who say "it was rubbish without Mulder")

I'd welcome BD versions of both movies, not too sure i'd want to buy all 9 seasons again though after buying them on vhs and then dvd..... i'm not made of money

I agree, it's very likely they will release the first film when the second hits Blu.

I was an X-files fan and I don't know why they didn't continue the series. I thought the new characters were doing fine jobs and blended right in.
Because it never should have gone past a 6th/7th season, Chris Carter had no idea where to go or what he was doing and it pretty much kept going through 9 because Fox wouldn't let him stop.

I'm so excited for the new XFiles Movie. I've been waiting for it since the series finale. As far as the final seasons. I enjoyed them just as I did the others. I thought Doggitt and Reyes did well. I thought it showed that they could make worthy stand alone episodes with new actors and it was intetesting. All along they had the continuing mythology going on and it made the show continue to be watchable and enjoyable. As far as the new movie you'd almost have to think that a X files 1 would be released when 2 get released on Blu. At least that's what I hope. I've almost bought the Ultimate collection of all 9 seasons, but have held off for some hope it does come out on blu some time, because I already have them, but there just burnt. Lets hope this movie does well enough to give a new one every 2 or so years. Duchovny is a great actor and if anyone hasn't seen Californication I highly recommend it. He plays a totally different charactor then Mulder ever was and he nails it.
