X-Files movies coming to France

I just noticed that Amazon had put the two X-Files movies up on their page.

X-Files: Combattre Le Futur - Released January 21st

X-Files: Régénération - Released January 30th



So according to the cover of I Want To Believe, we'll be getting the Director's Cut.

it's an extended edition and not really a director's cut per se. it doesn't add much. i didn't even notice what they added.

watched I want to Belive in Saturday night... it was ok, i'd call it solid but nothing extraordinary about it... it was nice to see the pair back on screen again and billy connolly played his part well... i wonder will they make another film?

Dredging up an old thread but does anyone know if the first X-Files film has forced subs on this release? I doubt they're ever going to releaseit in the UK so I've gone for 'Le Film' from amazon.fr.

just tested mine, as expected for a Fox release subtitles are optional. (only expect forced subtitles on local distributor editions like TF1, Metropolitan and all )

PS : the image is not demo worthy imo (but it is also an old release)

Brilliant, thanks for the info (and for checking, really appreciate it)! I'm not expecting wonders from the video quality considering the age and budget but should be a decent step up from the DVD. I'm mostly interested in the audio which got great reviews on the US version - that bomb blast at the start alone will hopefully be worth the upgrade...
