Default WalMart BD movie selection stinks!

I can't believe how poor the WalMart selection for Blu-Ray movies is. I don't understand why they don't carry more. I've been in 3 different stores and none have had more than 15-20 selections. That's TERRIBLE!.

The selection at WM is very limited, but I expect it to get better.

Bandwaggon fan I see

Beckett(Hurt)
Dice K- Over Paid
Schilling- hahahaha he owned your ass with that deal
Lester- ?
Bucholtz- .38 ERA for Chamberlain is more impressive than Bucholtz 1 no hitter, and then he got hurt

And our pitching staff is bad?

Chamberlain owns all. I've been a fan of his since he was playing back at UNK (Nebraska-Kearney). He's actually made me a Yankees fan, since he's my second favorite player (behind Alex Gordon).

Their selection sucks, but I did notice they started putting Blu-Rays out with their DVDs in the New Release end caps when I went tonight. Their selection has gotten somewhat better over the last month, still not great though.

a few years ago on a different forum, we had a saying: "All threads eventually go off topic." This one went fast though! And it's that time of year when off topic talk turns to baseball. I was guilty of it myself last week. But today I'm sad that my team lost to the team of the city I live in now

My Wal-Mart has usually around a dozen or so titles, with about 5 copies of each. All newer releases within the last 2 weeks or so.

I've never gone to Wal-Mart expecting to find an older catalog title. I use them strictly for new releases.

I work at a fairly big Wal-Mart located in a small city. I have about 5 stores surrounding me within 10-30 minute drive. All of them have an awful selection of Blu's.

I have noticed Wal-Mart is playing if safe. They waited till major signs of the former war to be over to even announce full support. So I'm sure now as Blu becomes more dominate Wal-Mart will soon increase numbers of copies of new releases and even catalog titles as well. It will take some time, but I know it was a topic of talk at their last annual meeting a month or so ago.

But I agree as of now I rarely buy my Blu's there, unless its a brand new release and no one else is running sales. I work there and never see them have any bargains on their Blu's.

I'm hoping they see what Target is doing in this weeks AD and it drives them to compete a little more.

I also hate shopping at CC for Blu's. Their sections are also horribly laid out and hard to shop. But they do have slightly more titles crammed in their section than Wal-Mart and run the occasional deal.

Same here. If I've got to have a specific title releasing that week (NCFOM last week) I go there, and they've got it at the best price of any B&M near me.

I do notice they don't seem to reorder too quickly, if at all. They were already out of Ratatouille when I went after work on release day, and it looks like they've never restocked it.
