Default New setup!

Hey all,
I just ordered the Onkyo HT-SP908! Finally, I should have it all hooked up by this weekend. I'm so excited. Also, is 5.1 MULTI-CHANNEL CONNECTION BETTER THAN OPTICAL AND HDMI?

The 5.1 input is an analog input . . . it serves much of the same purpose as HDMI, but if you have HDMI, use it.

Agreed--unless the decoders and DACs in the player are better than those in the receiver, in which case the 5.1 analog out is the way to go.
