WrestleMania XXIV, what did you think?

Now honestly, I can't tell you what I thought, cos I had school in the morning and it was on PPV and I couldn't be bothered buying it, but then again, what do you think of this years 'Mania? I heard that it was much better than last years. Taker is now 16 and 0 and the new World Heavyweight Champion (WOOO HOOO!), Randy Ortan is still WWE Champ (at least it's better than "The Champ" or "Superman" as I like to call him as champion), Kane is ECW Champ (after 10 years, he's finally a world champ again, albeit one PWI does not recognise) and Ric Flair is gone, but will never be forgoton. I don't know what happened in the Mayweather V Show and MITB, and I really expected the Diva lumberjack match to be a massive flop but I heard that it was quite entertaining. The fireworks when Taker won the match are dying to be put on BD right now and not waiting until October. What did you think of 'Mania XXIV? Cast your vote for one to five stars.

I think the fact that over half of these guys have been around for 20+ years explains alot about the state of wrestling for the wwe. I stopped on the thing for a couple minutes a week or so ago and these new wrestlers all have one thing in common, they are nowhere near as brutal in the moves they do as the last generation of wrestlers, and pretty much all of them are retards when it comes to being in front of a camera and acting. I think the state of wrestling is in pretty damn piss poor shape imo, which is why you continuously see them regurgitating past stars to generate interest. The worst move Vince made was buying out all the other organizations, he let his bread and butter product go straight to hell because he took on more then he can chew.

Vince will never get that tv viewership back that he enjoyed throughout the 90's, most of us would rather watch real fighting in mma/ufc style contact sport then watch some 62 year old flare make himself look like a idiot in the ring trying to act like he is going to actually make a dent in a guy twice his size and a 1/4 of his age.
