$34.95 on amazon for pre-order . Plus, this has been posted many times, but I'm too lazy to link it to the other threads.

Probably because it'll be close to 4 hours long

You want max quality don't you?

Mania has always had an intermission anyway

You'll get rained on too.

I see the event being on one disc and a second disc with a load of extras. Seems to me like WWE would like to make a big splash for their debut on Blu-Ray. I know the event is gonna be about 4 hrs long, but I don't see this being a problem fitting on one 50 GB disc. Case in point, Gods and Generals is just over 3 1/2 hours long and it is on one disc as well as all the bonus features that were on the DVD release as well.

Case in point- Gods and Generals was at HD DVD bitrates, and therefore you could probably fit 2 of them on there since the movie had to fit in under 30GB

GAG is also about 3 hours of exposition, and 30min of action. Wrestlemania is the reverse

there's usually 3 hours for the main show and 3 to 5 hours of bonus fights, interviews ...

The Blu-Ray set will surely have every extra from the standard def set. My main interest will be the full, uncut Hall of Fame ceremony (the hour that is shown on USA every year is on tape delay and edited for time). For the $64.95 they are asking for the HD feed of the PPV, I foresee myself waiting for the Blu-Ray. Honestly this year's card doesn't have me all that excited, except for Flair's last match and HoF induction.

I am expecting some PQ issues - the initial standard DVD releases from WWE had a lot of artifacting (especially when it came to shots of pyro and the videos screens). Hopefully it will be minimal though.

He retired 5 years ago. He'll probably make an appearance, though.

The Texas Rattlesnake retired? Damn, hes not that old. I heard the Rock retired. Why are they all quitting so young. Tell me Undertaker is still wrestling.

Yes, Undertaker is facing Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The Rock left 5 years ago to make movies.

True. If he loses his match at Wrestlemania, he'll have to retire. Hopefully he does.

I will be watching WM. Call me what you want. I watch WM every year. The only PPV that I order. I can't help it, I love wrestling and WM.

That's the limitations of the cameras they were using, combined with trying to stuff too much on one disc (Mania 2K was awful, expecially with the multiangle match where the bitrate really plummetted)

Austin's neck, back and knees are shot. Rock quit before he had debillitating injury. Why taker is still wrestling is beyond me, he's hurt real bad. Seriously, most wrestlers are in constant pain all the time, it takes a terrible toll

He needed to retire 10 years ago, and needed to stop wearing the speedo trunks and having his shirt off before that.
