Wink Your kid's Fav Blu-rays

I have a couple. My son likes cars the most. He likes spongebob alot...
I got him cars on blu ray and watched it with him..It looks real good and its a good story...we also have ratatouille...ice age 1 and 2...on blu ray.
We recently purchased alvin and the chipmunks and gameplan on blu ray too.
Seems like i been buying alot of cartoons on blu ray when i originally planned to buy action movies. But me and my son like to watch movies together and i dont really want him watching alot of violence...I got the spiderman trilogy also and he likes that...No spongebob blu rays yet lol.

Well i just made this thread wondering what blu rays you watch with your children and what they like...cartoons or just movie wise all together.

p.s. My wife watches too. She inspects to make sure not too much violence or language lol....

I would give a BIG +1, and leave it at that if I could. Anyways, I also watch a lot oc cartoons with my son (Blu-ray, dvd ,and in direct TV). SpongeBobo is a favorite , Looney Tunes, Duck Dodgers, Scooby Doo, Dexter's Laboratory, Batman, Superman, and Spiderman. His favorite BD so far is Monster House.

I started buying BD's at the beginning of the year, with a mind set that I would build a collection for myself. I can say that about half of my BD collection is kids movies. My son loves Cars, while the girls like Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. I really enjoyed Surf's Up, I thought that was kind of entertaining for a kids movie.

Where as I don't have any children myself, my girlfriend has two daughters (5 years & 11 years old) that live with us. Honestly, though, I don't think either one of them could care less about Blu-Ray, if ya know what I mean? As long as it's a movie they like, they're not gonna matter what kind of medium or format they see it on. So, pretty much any animated film that's on Blu-Ray, of course, they're going to enjoy... as well as any other kid-oriented movies.

Its funny you mentioned whether the kids care if its a BD or not, because I've been training my kids (7 and 4) as to what a BD is and why it is better than DVD. They are young enough to soak things up no matter what is is and repeat it to my amusement. They have learned that if the blue light is visible on the BD player than a BD is in and not a DVD. They will also ask if the movie we are watching is a BD or a DVD, which is cute.

My twin boys loves Cars and the Spiderman movies as for Spongebob I think I like that more than them .

Right now they are waiting to see all the big movies coming out this year.

Our youngest one (3 1/2) is a little scared of Ratatouille. Too dark and the music gets to him.

But He really likes the following (favorites changing constantly):

- Cars
- The Wild
- Meet The Robinsons
- Happy Feet
- Ice Age 1/2
- Surf's Up
