Default HD DVD fanboys in full swing

I have been reading the forums on highdefdigest. It is the worlds biggest colection of HD DVD fanboys? Even in the face of a Blu-ray movie announcement onslaught they still post numerous entries that Blu-ray is garbage and HD DVD is vastly superior.

The thing I hate the most about the fanboys is how aggressively they defend HD DVD and flame anyone who supports Blu-ray.

I posted this at AVS and almost got my head chewed off. The HDdvd fanboys there are ravenous!

"The HDdvd software forum is looking pretty ghosttown like tonite here at AVS. One thread *****ing to Universal about lack of titles and that same "The Descent has fake PIP!" crap again for like the fifth time like anyone there would really care. So The Descent encoded the movie twice. Once with a "fake PIP window" Whoopie-freaking-do. How are all those exclusive HDdvd only releases wowing everybody tonite? Oh yeah, there aren't a whole heckuva lot. Makes me feel better every day that I went blu. I don't give a damn about the "evil corporations" or the business practices. I want to watch some damn movies and BD is making me smile.
but what do I know...?

Wow, I posted this in a thread here a few minutes back and within like 5 minutes I had about 4-5 HDdvd zealots chewing my head off for my opinion! Damn, they must be gettin' nervous tonite! All defensive and nasty! Got my thread not only closed but completely removed!
My opinion. I am glad I went with BD. More titles coming. You don't like my opinion that I posted here in the BD forum you can sit on it and twirl.

They can start like, 5 threads a day saying that the PS3 sales are crap and it's a failure and BD is screwed and no problem. You post a thread here on friendly turf saying you're happy that BD is getting all these releases when HDdvd apparently seems sparse in comparison and it gets shut down...."

The mods there seem more pro HDdvd anways...

Dave, the HD-DVD bias is obvious when HD-DVD zealots come into the Blu-ray forum and start crap and not a word is said. If you defend Blu-ray in the Blu-ray forum, or factually disprove their FUD they cry to mods, ask for thread titles to be changed, and eventually Mark Rubin comes in and closes the thread. Notice it is always Mark Rubin. Then if you discuss Blu-ray in the HD-DVD forum the weenies cry for a format neutral area. They get a format neutral thread, basically getting their own way. Yep. I think plazman is in serious denial:

I am afraid CES is illustrating that the BDA is in full force desperation mode and damage control. Declaring 'mission accomplished' is clearly playing to the BD gallery....This is indeed the last stand for the BDA. Will they pull this off? It'll be interesting to see what happens. I am predicting that we will see an increasing trend in BD movie prices as Sony disk subsidies or price controls are reduced. If not, Sony will have a bad Q1 and Q2 and 2007 and a new CEO in 2008. Comedy gold. As TalkStr8 has asked these guys who are making these outrageous remarks, are they watching the same CES as everyone else? lol

And he is who moderates and decides who can or cannot post on the Insiders thread

I was over at DVDTalk last night while AVS was down, and it was all doom-and-gloom there for HD DVD. I guess they are more realistic about the situation than I gave them credit for. AVS and HDD are fully of blind supporters.
