What do you guys think are the 5 worst horror movies ever made?

5. I Know Who Killed Me - I like this movie the most out of all of these... only because it reviews itself in its own title. What more must I say?
4. Friday the 13th - Part V: A New Beginning (sorry F13 fans) - While the first 3 films were quite cheesy, had a paper thin plot and questionable acting, at least the payoff was a bit of fine gore, and at least the way the killer stalked their victims was interesting to watch. In this movie, they have made the plot even more ridiculous, and replaced the gore with sheer ugliness. You can almost smell this film from the DVD player.
3. Exorcist: The Beginning - Remove everything good about The Exorcist, stretch it out to a full-length movie, and you get this pile of crap.
2. The Blair Witch Project: Book of Shadows - Almost as offensively bad as TCM:NG, Book of Shadows is the horror equivalent of "Aladdin: The Return of Jafar".
1. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation - So offensively bad. Don't ever watch this movie. I payed 10 dollars for this, mostly just to see Renee Zellweger and Mathew McConnaughey in their pre-stardom roles but not even they could save it.

TCM:NG is one of my faves. mainly because it is so bad haha i just love how big of a ***** they made leatherface hahahaha

how about Friday the 13th Jason Takes Manhattan? love the cheese of the guy getting his head punched off and rolling into a dumpster! haha

some of the worst that i've seen have been Nightmare on Elm Street New Nightmare(or whatev it's called), both Blair Witch films, American Psycho 2, and this really old, REALLY terrible film called Slaughter High.

2. Twice Dead
3. Chopping Mall
4. Manos: Hands of Fate
5. Electric Zombies

This is just off the top of my head... trust me, there's much worse than even these out there... well, maybe not worse than basket case or manos, but worse than the rest.

Note: Slaughter High was on my list, but I had to remove it because I'm not sure it's worse than some of the ones I put on there... but I do agree... Terrible terrible movie.

I'm gonna have to disagree that FRIDAY THE 13TH V is one of the worst horror movies. It actually has everything that all the other FRIDAY's had, and in terms of gore, it is definitely one of the goriest FRIDAY's. A lot of people throw snot at this one because "Jason" wasn't actually the killer in it. But who cares? The movie itself is actually a fun and solid horror flick from the mid 80's.

TEXAS CHAINSAW: THE NEXT GENERATION deserves to be on the WORST list. That one was bad.

THE RING II- what a boring waste of time! Atleast the original RING was intriguing and somewhat spooky. The RING II was just boring.

100% agreed. They ruined the 2nd movie, they just took the original concept, threw it out the door, and made it into another possession movie.
