I've only seen about 4 of the movies on that list and am anxious to see "Let the Right One In", but I have seen a good number of horror movies this year and have to say that Zombie Strippers was not only one of the worst horror movies this year, but maybe one of the 10 worst horror movies EVER. I also thought that The Ruins was really bad.

i must just be a HUGE fan of the Saw series, but i actually liked saw 5... it tied in all of the previous movies and it was less about the actual torture games. I think it explained a lot and is setting up for the last Saw, but well see...

As for "The Children"... anyone have any info on this.. Netflix doesnt have it...

Also, are there any movies on the BAD list that people think are good or worth watching??

i liked the ruins... had all the makings of a good horror movie... that being a paper thin plot... which i like... thought the ruins was kinda cool

A "Worst of" list without the "horror" film House? Fail.

I usually even like "crappy" horror movies. I tend to think that they are more comical than a lot of comedies.

I can't see the list though, I'm at work.

Wait...woah! When did this come out? Or why is it rated best of the year when it's not even out. I love all kinds of Halloween movies and I've never heard of this?

It was never released. It was shown at a few cons and film festivals. Warner is still trying to decide what to do with it. It's been getting rave reviews, but for some reason Warner is resisting a wide theatrical release and is considering releasing it direct to DVD/BD.

Bottom line is it may not be released in any form until next September/October.

I can't see the Happening being called a "Horror" film. Suspenseful... yeah maybe but not horror

I thought Seed had some worthy moments. It surprised me.

Agree with The Strangers and The Ruins...they don't get enough respect.

I couldn't make it through Cloverfield. Prom Night is pretty terrible.

Lost Boys 2 is fun in a dumb way. The Happening was okay by me. Mother of Tears was just baffling.

Zombie Strippers was the worst one I've seen from the list.

Really want to see Trick 'R Treat, Let the Right One In, and especially...Midnight Meat Train.

I passed on One Missed Call, Saw V, and Rest Stop 2 (although the reviewer admits to not having seen the entire film, so I don't think he should have it on his list).

Is this a remake of the same movie from the 80's? That movie was terrible.

Cloverfield, The Strangers and the Orphanage are the best I have seen

Prom Night and The Ruins are the worst I have seen. I had almost forgotten about Shutter until I saw J Untitled's list in his link. That movie was really bad.

The Ruins should make...the list as a comedy . There is no one that could possibly be scared by The Ruins...disgusted by all the unnecessary gore maybe. One of the WORST movies I have ever seen.

No, this movie doesn't feature Sammy Curr, the dead rock star summoned by playing his record backwards. That was called Trick Or Treat.

I liked The Ruins a lot, the book is a lot better but to make the movie exactly like the book, the movie would have been three hours. I really like Cloverfield, the haters can rot. I like Saw 5, I don't care. They are fun movies for me.
The Lost Boys 2 should be higher, though I never saw the other ones above it. I do want to see Trick or Treat.
