Ps3 Bluray PROBLEM PLEASE HELP! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok so i got a 40 gb ps3 and a 55 inch so wega hd...when i put a blueray disc in no matter wat settings i chose is upscales to 1920x1080 and only half of the screen shows..can some1 please hlep me ive posted this everywhere

do you mean you have black bars on the screen? if so, that's normal

no lol i mean it only plays on the left side of the screen...and the right side is black...it looks like it was repositioned but when i try to move it over it doesnt move

can you take a picture with your digital camera and post it. then we would be able to know the issue. I am sorry, but i am having a hard time understanding what you mean, and I am sure the Bluray.com community are willing to help once we know exactly what you talking about.

Does your tv do a split screen as PIP? could it be on this setting by any chance?

So the whole right side of the TV is black? Hmm, that's unusual. You've tried changing screen size by pressing triangle? Have you tried changing screen mode with your TV remote? Try unplugging the leads and plug them in again (if this has only just happened).

Just a list of ideas. Hope they work.

you mean there are two black bars on the screen during the feature presentation. if that what you mean then it is normal.

I think he means like they cut the picture in half and took out the left side, then pushed the rest of it all the way to the edge of the screen on the left.Sorry for my non-technical description.really tired.
