Default DTS at 16-bit, 48kHz, 1536kbps...Playable?

Any way that anyone knows I can play a DTS WAV file with my PS3 at 16-bit, 48kHz, 1536kbps? I understand that the PS3 will not output this at 48kHz unless it's attached to a video stream and burned as a DVD. Anyone know how I might go about doing this without quality loss?

Ah. That's what I thought. I don't think you can. But if you have the right software, you can easily encode your own DVD using this WAV file. It doesn't have to be a moving image either.

I was going to suggest you play it via a flash drive as an original WAV file but I don' think the PS3 plays WAV files.

Ooh, how can I author a DVD if I just want to use an image, not a moving image? That's PRECISELY what I want to do!! I just don't know of a good software to use. I'm very literate and can learn to use anything. Any suggestions? I'm almost sure that this would work.
