hey guys, I may not own as awesome 7.1 surround system as most of you, but because I'm a singer I own a really good soundcard and good reference-speakers.
So I only want stereo sound (because I only have 2 speakers, tho really really good ones), however since my soundcard is 24bit/192khz I want to make use of the extra bit-rate that TrueHD/DTS has to offer. Is there any way I can use the HD track when watching my BR movies? atm I suspect my computer is actually using the 48khz track, altho I don't know how to check, anyone? I use PowerDVD codec through Media Player Classic (altho I have access to TotalMedia as well) My soundcard is Konnekt 8 I've searched through the entire forum, but all I can find are threads about how difficult it is to get all the 8 channels out, but again I only want stereo so is there perhaps hope for me? |
