I agree with Iron Man.
Hopefully it will obliterate the #'s from the vastly inferior Transformers, which only entertained me for the first 15 minutes or so before transforming into a ridiculous train wreck.
All powerful metal box from space and Hoover Damn robot prison, puhlease.

But, you gotta consider the amount of time other movies are out. If a movie is released in January, and another in October.. yeah.. sales for 9 months may be bigger than a movie out for 2 months.

I agree though, Iron Man will be huge.

The issue (that I think you may not be thinking of) is that A LOT of people will be getting BD players this Christmas (sales, BD player/TV combos, gifts, etc). When they do this, they will be picking up a title or two to go along with it, and odds are they will most likely be picking up some new D&D releases instead of a catalog title. So, by the 4Q, titles will be bought by new owners, as well as those of us who currently have Blu-ray.

I also suspect that "Iron Man" will beat "The Dark Knight" in sales (though I could be wrong, but with TDK being released after "Iron Man", possibly even during the month of December), and Indy 4 and "Speed Racer" should be close behind.

"Wall-E" probably won't do as well (considering that animation still doesn't sell as well as live-action on BD), "The Incredible Hulk", "Hellboy II", "Wanted", and "Hancock" will do well, but nothing like the others.

~Alan

If the other 3 Indy movies are released with Indy 4, the Indy Quadrilogy will be #1.
