Wall Street Blu-ray March 6

Not sure if there was a previous thread on this but if there was please do delete it.

Can anyone tell me PQ and audio quality of wall street and if its worth getting?

In terms of PQ, it's one of the worst I have seen.

I would give it a 3/5 for PQ and thats being pretty generous. As mentioned above, it's a great movie(4.5/5) and a must buy for me. I picked it up on release day and have got my moneys worth.

If you can score it in the $12-14 range with a coupon or something you should go for it.

PQ isn't the greatest, but it's an improvement over the DVD.

I am unable to upload screenshots but I can confirm the new transfer improves on several aspects of this film. It wasn't until I watched the old blu ray tonight that I realized just how soft, dull and faded it looks. The new transfer is sharper, has better colors, the high bit rate encode helps, and also there is much better grain structure.

The film is not, and probably won't ever be razor sharp high definition- but you should definitely be able to tell a difference in most scenes. Especially the central park scene at the end. More vibrant, and more accurate colors throughout.

Plus the booklet it comes with is cool and very interesting, not to mention the slip. I snagged it for $9.99 at Best Buy tonight. Totally worth it, especially if you don't previously own the film or are a big fan.

Definitely need to get the new Wall street version from Best Buy! But I live in the UK and no one has it listed on eBay

The PQ has definitely improved from the older release.

It's not ever going to look much better than the remastered Signature Series disc, so I'd rather have other titles that actually need it.

Looks fine to me. A fine example of how good a film can look without the cheap gimmicks of artificial sharpening and edge enhancement which some companies sadly still rely on.
