Default Panasonic Bd-30 Problems

I Have Had My Bd-30 For A While Now. I Need To Update My Firmware But I Am Having Problems. My Bd-30 Was Shipped With Firmware 1.1 . I Need To Upfate To The 1.8. I Follwe The Instructions And Downloaded 1.8 To My Imac And Then Burned It To A Memorex Cd-r. I Put The Disc In My Bd-30 And I Get "unsupported" On The Display. Does Anyone Know How To Fix This?

Thanks, Brad

I have a Mac as well.
Call customer service at Panasonic 1-800-211-PANA (7262).
Within a week they will send you a disc (at no cost) that you just need to load in your Blu-Ray player. The instructions are easy and the whole process will take less than 15 minutes. When you call them have the serial number of your player handy.

I tried to make a firmware update disk using Vista..and it did not like it so much. I had to use XP for the disk. Very touchy...

Default Panasonic BD 30 and Integra 7.8

I have both the Panasonic 30 and Integra 7.8 which will decode the HD audio. I set the 30 to bitstream out with secondary audio to off and on the blu ray disc select either D Tru HD or DTS HD MA and my receiver only lights up DD or DTS. Does anybody know why my Integra won't light up DD Tru or DTS MA? I've heard the Sony PS bitstreams but capable receivers wont light up with the HD audio. Anybody know the skinny on these confusing audio set ups? Thanks

Do you have HDMI audio set to "off" on the Integra?
