Is it possible to keep your download games when your upgrade your hard drive in PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

I had like extra maps installed for COD4, will I keep those if you upgrade my hard drive when backing up? with that work with other stuff you download from the ps network?

i kept everything but when i tried to play it wouldnt work. i had to redownload everything from the psn off of my download list

Kept everything for me, and everything played fine.

And if you have to redownload its free for the first 5 times.

Has anyone ever tried this? I heard it was free for the same ps3 unlimited, but limited up to 5 different PS3's....

the 5 download limit must only apply to other ps3's.

if you were limited on the console that it was bought from then thats bad play
