Default PS3 Not Recognizing Buzz Wireless Buzzers

Popped in my game disc of Buzz Quiz TV. A screen appeared with the message that my PS3 couldn't find any wireless buzzers, so I turned one on,(later I tried all four) and nothing happened. I could not get out of that screen unless I quit the game.

Anybody else had this problem.

Have you plugged in the USB wireless module?

edit: and paired the buzzers?
  1. Switch all the buzzers off
  2. Hold the power button on each buzzer for several seconds until the LED is lit on each
  3. With the USB wireless module plugged into your PS3, press and hold the bind button on the side of the USB module until the LED on each buzzer goes out

Thanks for your reply.

Where would I find a wireless module?

There is nothing in the Buzz Pack except the buzzers.

Is it an add-on or is it supplied with the PS3?

Sorry if I sound like a total idiot, but haven't heard of the module before.

So they aren't BT, they connect via USB? That sucks, cuz I just got rid of my GH3 that was hogging controller #1, and now when I get this game I'll be in the same boat again...
