Default BD movies being sold in regional grocery chain

We have a local based grocery chain that sells a bit of everything called Meijers...that has dozens of stores here in Michigan , and also Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky that I know of.

Anyhow...I looked just for grins about a week ago..and there were no HD movies of any kind.

Yesterday...my 14 year old son spotted a box of BD movies..and said there were also some on the shelves...and a whole box full not yet put on shelves.

I haven't looked but he said around 25 titles or so.

This is yet another sign that the PS3 is having more of that Trojan Horse effect....and that things are looking more Blu...everyday.

Good. It's about time this stuff start getting put out on the shelves vs. sitting in the back somewhere where a small handful customers think to ask for it.

Told you, Iceman!

Well now that there's thread about this, I'll post this too: Last week while travelling incognito through airports on a mission, I saw Blu-rays being sold on those inner airport joints set there so you can send more money while you travel. BDs I saw in passing while walking to my terminal were Disney's Dinosaur and Eight Below. Little did they know I was carryng like 25 recent ones in my suitcase

This is Meiers, right? How do you find their prices on these BD discs for the most part?

Yep...but spelled Meijer....usually people refer to them with an s on the end.
The catalog titles that cost 25.00 at BB/CC...are around 21.00...according to my son who asked me to buy Employee of the Month at 29.95....and I said no...it has a reportedly sub par picture quality.
What I didn't say was...its a sub par movie
