Default HD-DVD now at Grocery Outlet stores for $4.99

For those in the West Coast and parts of the mid-west, the discount grocery store Grocery Outlet is selling HD-DVD's for $4.99. These are the HD/DVD combo releases. I saw 300, Ocean's Thirteen and Harry Potter (forgot which one) on sale.

This is pretty average price for these now. The stores are having such a tough time getting rid of them.

I picked up Face Off, and Failure to Launch on HD-DVD last night at Marshall's for that same price, and saw Four Brothers, Beowulf, and Transformers as well. It's a clothing store similar to T.J. Maxx.

The movie stop by my place have them for 2.99 just for the movie and 4.99 for tv shows. The only good thing about this is just some of those people who have HDDVD players might just want to collect the items just for keeps.

Glad I got rid of mine before HDDVD death.

I plan to use that new Holographic Noise Reduction Cable. HNRC.

Near 2389P. It beats the 1080P.

Wait a second. The OP said they were HD/DVD combos. So that price isn't bad for the DVD side.
