Wrong place for this, and I don't know much about Televisions....

what kind of space do you have? You could get a projector and screen within your budget......THINK BIG

You'll need to specify a size though, if you want a better recommendation.... Pioneer makes great Plasmas, Sony makes great LCDs.... There's the new Viera, and samsung is highly regarded.....

There's a t.v. for everyone's budget, and $2,500 will get you a nice one these days!

I got my Mitsubishi 73" DLP HDTV at Amazon for 2,400.00. That was a great deal and an awesome TV.

LCD? 120Hz? Samsung 52A650.

Overall? Pioneer 5010 Plasma. Best tv for $2500.

I would look at the Samsung 46" 750 series. You may can find the 52" for a little more than 2500. I would look at www.onecall.com they usually will have them for a few hundred off retail with free shipping and no tax. They have the 46" 750 for $1895 and the 52" for $2615. Pretty good prices for an excellent TV.
