home theater speakers

im looking to buy some home theater speakers. i want a good set in the price range of $200. any suggestions. sorry if there is already a thread about this.

Not sure where Port Clinton is..... is it near Cleveland? I have a Set of CV RE-30's, Center, and bookshelfs (RE-16's) for surrounds. I had a 15" sub for it, but gave it to a buddy...... The surrounds aren't pretty (I won't lie!) they've been knocked off of the stands so many times during my college days that the grills are broken off.... the magnet/speakers are fine.... I'd let them all go for $200

I am not home so I don't know the exact model of the center right now....

they're in the black finish.... but here are the L/R speakers I couldn't find a link for the RE-16's

This isn't my craigslist add, as I don't live in Chicago.....

Jealous that you live by Cedar Point...

I'd go for two towers and enjoy the two channel until you either have more money, or room, or both, and then add the surrounds/sub.

If you are not looking for surround sound then what speakers are you looking for?

That's what I was thinking...... They'll be in my basement if you change your mind...... not the best speakers in the world, but 5.0 for $200 nonetheless.

im going to buy surround sound speakers at some point. not sure if now is the time.
