Default small Home Theater Satellite Speakers

I've tried to search the forums (maybe i didn't do a good job) for some good small satellite speakers, i just built a house and i pre wired it for home theater speakers to mount on the wall. I wanted floor tower speakers but my wife doesn't like the size and she wants Bose but i've heard so many negative things about them, i have a sony home theater in a box right now and i'm looking for speakers about the same size maybe slightly larger than bose that can be wall mounted, any recommendations, thanks

Not sure of the price ranges of the bose you were looking at, but I auditioned these for my bedroom, and was very pleased.

I'd suggest getting the M1 speakers, but match them with a Velodyne Mini-sub or other sub, for the money. The 5 M1's would set you back about $1k, add $400 for a receiver, and $400 or so for a sub.... if ~ $2k is your budget.... I'd go this route. Also look into Cambridge, and other companies.

Check out Mirage. They make and sell the Omnisats and Nanosats, both satellite systems with a lot to offer. PS. Crutchfield is having a sale! http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...YPB&c=4&tp=184

You can also check out Hsu Research. They also make above the norm satellite systems.

Also, I suggest you audition at least a few options before buying.

Not necessarily expensive either.... $1,500 for the entire set, I'd recommend checking these out as well.

Go to B&W's website, and select "Find a dealer" or whatever it is.... and type in your Zip Code.... Chances are, whatever shops that come up in your area, will also carry other speakers you'd want to audition (like the KEF's etc)

See what that comes up with.

I have a 5.1 system with the B&W M1's. I have not regreted this purchase one bit. These things rock for both music and movies. You will not be dissapointed if you choose them.
