I have been waiting for the site to review this movie since it came out. I'm curious to see what the video scored. Anyone want to share their opinions on this one. Thanks

Thanks for being jack asses guys, I was asking a question. I see people use abbreviations on here all the time and they don't get ripped. But whatever makes you feel more important than you really are. I think it's pathetic how people feel the need to flame someone, once the ball gets rolling than everyone jumps on. I use to respect everyone on here, but not anymore!

I'll be posting a review of the movie overnight tonight. In short, I was very pleased with both the audio and video qualities, and I did use the abbreviation in the official review.

Don't take it too seriously man. It's nowhere near a classic film, but it's always been an extreme guilty pleasure of mine that I watch at least once a year. Of course, us fans, immediately know what IKWYDLS means, and judging from all the responses, it's pretty clear everyone knew what you were referring to, even the ones who responded with the comedy. I've always used that abbreviation myself because it's simply easier than writing it out, plus most people with whom I've ever discussed it with already know the abbreviation. It's been used in a lot of official reviews, too. My favorite scene in the entire film is where Helen is getting chased via the store/alley scene. Regardless of what one thinks of the movie, I still think that scene is perhaps one of the best horror movie chase scenes of all time. These days in film, someone is killed immediately and gruesomely. The actual chase builds the suspense, which is where the entire thrill comes from. I don't mind gore at all, but it's nowhere near as intense as a prolonged chase scene such as the good one in I Know, and others like from the original '78 version of Halloween, the original NOES (that's Nightmare on Elm Street before I get lambasted lol).

Anyway, back to the actual disc--the film looks pretty impressive on Blu Ray. I bought it when it came out. There's a lot of life breathed into the scenes.

I also purchased the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer import from Amazon.co.uk since it's not officially released here in the States. It can't even touch the original, but I don't hate it as much as some others do. The UK import looks pretty good, but in my opinion, the first film looks much better visually in High-Def than the sequel. Perhaps it's that the original has more mood and stylish cinematography than the run-of-the-mill slasher sequel.

I'm still unsure why Sony released only the original here and only the sequel in the UK (but not the original), and both discs are region free. The logic doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well.
