Onkyo 705 becoming scarce? What other options?

I've had my eye on an Onkyo 705 receiver for quite a while, but have been waiting for the price to come down lower before I pull the trigger. When I look it up online, I don't see many places listing it as even available anymore. None of my local CC's have it, C.net lists 1 online store having it in black, 2 in silver.

Has there been an update to the 705 I hadn't heard about? Is there already some replacement that makes the 705 obsolete? Should I be looking at a different model instead? How low should I have expected the 705 to go, and do you think it's at it's lowest prices now? (560 @ Amazon in Black)

Any thoughts are appreciated...

I purchased a refurb 705 direct from Onkyo earlier this year for a similar price. I've had 0 problems with it, and would recommend a refurb from any authorized e-tailer.

I got mine about 3 months ago for $519. Shortly after they were comming out with the 706, which I figured since they released the 606. 706 is back up to the same price as the 705 was last year and within a year Im sure it will drop too.

It's being replaced by the 706, which will start coming down in price once all the 705's are gone, i would think.
