Default A Question for UK users

Is hifibitz.co.uk a good website to get your surround speakers from? Have you had any experiences with it?

If not where did you get your speakers from?

I'm in a bit of a predicament here because all my stuff is in my bedroom, Ideally I want to get an Onkyo 905 with Polk RTi 9a's with some sort of subwoofer but I'm sure that's overkill for a bedroom.

Plus with the current financial crisis the world is in it's probably best I keep ahold of my money.

*sigh*

A 606 would be fine for your needs, a 905 would be overkill.
There is a cheap set of Yamaha speakers available for £100. NP100??? maybe, can't remember their model name. I've used these on a few lower cost installs to great effect, they're the best value speakers i've ever come accross. The sub is a bit boomy, espcially on laminate floors, but the general quality is very good. Absolutly ideal for a bedroom install, where chances are the sub won't be wound right up most of the time.
They are quite compact, and available in black or silver.
