Default Special Features In Hi-Def

I was wondering what your guys opinions are on special features being in high definition. Do you think eventually down the road they will re-release a lot of the blu-rays with the features being hi-def? I personally think they will do this and add some exclusive features. I would rather not buy them now only to have to re-buy them at a later date.

Thanks!

Most of that stuff (electronic press kit) was shot on videotape so I don't think it's even possible.

I certainly prefer everything to be HD.

It is wonderful as long as it doesn't take away from the Movie experience or drive the price up with two extra discs.

But yeah...for the most part...the more HD the merrier.

I love it when the special features are in HD as well but I don' think many movies have their special features shot in HD anyway so no they won't re-release most of them with HD special features.

I watched Mysterious Island last night and all of the special features were 1080/24p, but they looked terrible....like 480i.

Sometimes that happens. Sleeping Beauty has an episode of the Disney tv show that's been upconverted.

I will watch special features more than once, even if they're already clear in my mind.

Indy 4 and Baraka have special features in HD. There may be many others.

After Paramount helped drag out the format war, I do have to tip my hat to them now. They have been doing an excellent job of keeping all of the special features in HD as much as possible. Unlike, say, Fox (if they include any special features at all!)

Of course I love my special features in hd, but really it's a nonproblem when there not, I mean I usually only watch a special feature once ever, it's something that's fun to watch if you want to know more about the movie, but alot of the times I never watch all the special features, so I really don't care if they give sd special features.
