Freaking finally. I've always hated this show.

I do sympathize with those of you who enjoyed it, though.

I was going to write the first part but didn't want to because it fell rather wrong to bash on it like that. Your second part tied in quite nicely

this does suck.... truly one of the funniest cartoons. I've been afraid of this ever since fox stopped putting out the seasons on dvd (I have all up to 6). It upsets me that so many people never gave this a chance and love crap like family guy .

Hank is based on the guy from Beavis and Butthead, Mr. Anderson, but they aren't the same character. Mr. Anderson was an older man, but in reality he's just a retired version of Hank Hill.

About time, not watched it since the exact moment it "Jumped the Shark" ...

"Dances with Dogs"
Episode KH702
Original Airdate: 12/01/02

The exact moment it was over when they devoted an entire episode to Bobby dancing with Lady Bird the family dog.

This really sucks, king of the hill was a very entertaining show. RIP Hank. Family guy is not that bad of a show, I still enjoy KOTH alot better. But south park absolutely sucks. I used to love it, but man that was back in high school. I think I grew out of it or something.

Yes, he and Brian should get their own series and just do away with the rest of the characters.

Unhappy King of the Hill Series Finale: 9/13/09

The final episode of KOTH will air on September 13, entitled "The Boy Can't Help It" / "The Honeymooners." The episode starts at 8:00 PM EST and lasts an hour. A brief synopsis:
Quote:
Bobby becomes quite the ladies' man when several girls in his class consider him a potential date for the Homecoming dance. When he realizes the girls are just playing with his emotions and are not really that interested, he asks his pal Connie to the dance. Also in the episode, Hank is shocked when his mother announces she is marrying a man she has only known for a few weeks. Soon after, the newlyweds celebrate by purchasing an RV and heading to Hank's. When Hank's mom and new stepfather have a heated argument, she takes off with the RV and Hank is left to rescue his mother once again.
RIP King of the Hill: January 12, 1997 – September 13, 2009

seriously!! here's what i don't get: the series apparently had a large enough fanbase to be consistently renewed all the way until season 13, but apparently not large enough to warrant more dvd seasons...how does THAT make sense??
