I believe it is the Japanese release mentioned here, set for Release on Feb. 11, 2009.

That's pretty disappointing if all we're going to get are hi-def versions of the current releases - which this looks like.
They were good special editions - but I thought we might get a little more material. This identical artwork and identical blurb (1989-1997) doesn't suggest that.

Anyways - Dark Knight is merely weeks away!!
But I'll definitely be picking up Batman and Batman Returns

When this gets released here in the USA, I want them to have THOSE cases with the different logos on them.

Except for the first movie, they never use those for the US releases.

I think it's been mentioned that special features are included in the set. Whether they're going to be the same as the previous box set or not remains to be seen and, if they are the same, whether they'll get upgraded to HD or not.

I think the set looks interesting. I love the indiviual covers, but I will get the box set.

Please let there be a US release date soon. This set will look great next to my BR copy of the Dark Knight and Batman Begins.

They had pretty comprehensive documentaries and director commentaries, as well as music videos and trailers. What more could they add?
