very, and that also means if another studio buys the rights they might release the rest of the seasons on DVD...fingers crossed

or all of them on bluray

I really doubt it. I imagine Fox will still hold the home video rights.

well one can only hope. i still don't get how demand was high enough for fox to continue producing the show up to the current season yet apparently wasn't high enough for them to release the rest of the seasons on dvd. how does that make sense.

Right on, say it like it is sister.

They better bring back that show. Fox were just sleeping with the butane loving enemy, "I tell you what".

It would fit perfectly. All of ABC's shows are terrible, and KotH is also terrible.

just your opinion. one thing is for sure and that is no "terrible" show lasts 13 seasons.

You just don't get the humor of King of the Hill then. I found the last season to be just plain hilarious, especially when Dale thought that Khan's nephew's car was a time machine. Just because the show is trying to be realistic, doesn't mean it can't be funny.

I love these responses. I was always under the impression that taste in film or television was subjective, but perhaps I have been wrong all this time. King of the Hill in my opinion, has been a clever and entertaining show for many years, and there are people who would be pleased to see it continued.

Some good news! I really hope this show can continue. I'm a little weary though cause abc showed interest in Arrested Development when FOX cancelled it, but they never did pick it up.

I'm a KOTH fan and I'm not rejoiced. Remember what they did to Doug? They cut Patty's hair!
What if they make Bill grow a beard or take Dale's hat away?

What if they make Bobby plug Toy Story III?

What if they replace John Redcorn with Larry the Cable Guy?

What if they take a trip to Disney World like they did on all the TGIF shows?

What if I forget to close the garage door when I leave and somebody steals my favorite dog and paints my second favorite to look like her to trick me?

I liked Patty Mayo wif short hair. It gave her Sound of Music charm.

Rogers and Hammerstein, hey.

well the good thing about tv is you can always turn it off. hopefully if it goes to ABC they won't screw it up too much, and there's nothing we can do if they do or don't except just not watch it. at least it has 13 awesome seasons already and that's what people will remember it by. no one remembers doug for patty's crappy haircut (good call on that btw), they just remember it as an awesome kids show. we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

King of the Hill is my 2nd favorite still airing tv show. I also think the last few episodes have been golden. However even as a fan I think the series needs to end NOW. The Quality has no doubt started to go down, and while it's still great it needs to go out on a good note.
So yes finish the show and FINALLY RELEASE THE REST OF THE SERIES ON DVD... or blu-ray!!!!!!!

I think there's a difference. Disney bought the rights to doug from nickelodeon. They then used their own writers and animators for the show. In this case, I think everyone would still be involved from the show and it would just air on abc instead. I could be wrong but hopefully I'm not.

I'm with everyone else though. If it is officially cancelled maybe we can at least get the rest of the season on dvd. Maybe a complete box set
