GTA4 Trophy Question - Blu-ray Forum

I couldn't find any thread with info. pertaining to my question, but anyways.

For the Trophy about all Random Characters, i don't know if i accidentally stopped this trophy. I haven't done much, but i found out that the character Clarence is a random one later on. During his Francis mission i sniped him from a crane so i never entered that building and confronted him. Does this mean i can no longer get that trophy and should just re-load my last save point and spare him?

No the game guide says he is not a true random character. He is not needed. Neither are any of the other randoms that you have the option to kill in the main story.

Oh really? So that means Ivan, Clarence and Cherise (think that's it) won't be the true random characters while everyone else is?
