Trophy Question - Stardust HD - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, now im curious about something. For example, I play Super Stardust HD and i am trying to get the trophy's, now, do you have to get them in order? Because that is what it seems like. I have the first two, for beating the 2 planets, but i tried to get the trophy where all you have to do is not shoot anything for 45 seconds, and it wont give it to me. So i assume you have to do them in order??

No, you do not have to get them in order.

Not sure what one you are talking about, but it sounds like one you have to survive for 45 seconds, and for that you have to play in survival mode, which is different than arcade mode.

You can get them out of order. That 45 second one has to be done in Survival mode though (I believe it's one of the modes in the solo expansion pack)

I am going off memory, but I believe the description of the trophy reads

Survival - survive 45 seconds without shooting or using bombs

Many of the other trophies relate to specific modes as well - It should say the mode name in the trophy description.

oohhh, must have totally overlooked that. I was going to say, you should be able to get them out of order. Thanks.

Good luck trying to get them all...Stardust has some very tricky trophys! If you manage to get "Late Boomer" then i shall have to kill you. lol

Dont kill me

As for the trophies... no order whatsoever but you do have to play in the correct game modes

A bunch of which are with the expansion packs.

Yea, I must say that I find that really annoying that I cant get all the trophy's unless i buy the expansion pack. DLC is begining to get out of control.

I have posted about this problem on the GAP.

We Gap members have come up with an idea that you get 100% for doing the trophies in the original game.

But then if you do buy DLC content, then your 100% drops (keeping that platinum trophy), and then you work for 100% again.

Other possibility is that the DLC has its on trophy spot and is like SSHD DLC 100%.

Even Xbox doesnt do this, and it pisses me off.

Well, i totally agree with you. The DLC should have its own set of challenges...

While it might be a warm fuzzy feeling to get 100% of the original trophies, I don't think Sony or Microsoft will change their tune on this. The developers especially don't want to change it; showing your trophy list as "incomplete" gives people an extra incentive to buy the expansions.
