Default Will we ever get the Sci-Fi Channeland Cartoon Network here in Canada ?

Will we ever get the Sci-Fi Channeland Cartoon Network here in Canada ? I know, we have Space but it ain't nothing compared to Sci-Fi. Everytime, i go to the States i enjoy watching the Sci-Fi Channel . And now for the Cartoon network, what an awesome channel. Yes, we have here Teletoon but then again it ain't compared to Cartoon Network. I hate the stupid CRTC for not allowing to get quality channels like the States or other countries have . I hope we will get those 2 channels in the near future whether it's Cable or Satellite.

The CRTC sucks the proverbial bag. In Canadian Satellite/Cable, a huge percentage of the programming including commercials, has to be Canadian. That's why I used to have Gray-Market DirectTV. If I wanted to see crappy Canadian content with stupid Canadian commercials, I'd tune in to the idiotic CBC. Why we have to deal with almost 30% French content is beyond me. The only reason why Bell convinced the government to ban US satellite is because they can't figure out how to make money on it. It's public airwaves, damnit! As usual though, Canadians are just too bloody conservative and let the govt do whatever the Hell it wants to. Would the American consumer have stood for the GST? No way in Hell.

Okay, I feel better now... I'll take my medication and lie down. I've ranted enough... the govt wants me to hush and go to sleep... sleeeeeeep...

Directv and Dishnetwork should be available to not only americans but canadians as well. It would be good competition for Bell Expressvu and other canadian companies. No ?
