The translation of the article is clumsy. But we get the gist of it.

This is an interesting development. For Universal, it is a huge gamble to develop for HD-DVD only. For Paramount and Warner, the gamble comes from the different ways in which the internet download interfaces will be from HD-DVD and BD.

For Sony, Disney, Lionsgate and Fox, the gamble comes from anticipating the depth of information early-adopters want and how to deliver that through an easy-to-use interface.

Exciting times!
