is there any real big difference between the 2 edition other then special features? is the video quality any better?

The audio is better, the video is exactly the same as the original release.

the special edition has a true hd track the regular version has a pcm track

I've seen and "heard" both versions, and with my setup I prefer the collector's edition's truehd over the original pcm. No difference in pq, they are the same, from what I could tell.

this must be like the 10th thread asking the exact same question.

both editions have the exact same video transfer. in terms of audio, the new one has a dolby trueHD track while the old one was PCM. the new one has all the specials features from the old plus a lot more and includes a movie ticket to quantum of solace. most of the reviews of the new one detail all the differences between the 2 editions.
